Effective hand pump

by
I've used a lot of hand pumps and the Morph is the one I'm sticking with until something better comes along. The best feature of the Morph is the flexible hose, which means the valve isn't directly stressed by the pump. More than once I've repaired a tube only to damage the valve using a mini handpump.

Having a gauge is also handy. It's not hugely accurate, but it'll get you into the ballpark pressure that you need. The little plastic foot stand does help, though it doesn't feel particularly robust. I'd be happy with a few more grams and a full metal join and foot.

Overall, it's a hell of a lot easier to use than a rigid hand pump, allowing you to push against the ground like a foot pump instead of holding the pump. Once I tried the Morph, the other mini pumps started gathering dust.

Best pump ever

by
Love this pump! I will never buy another model as long as this one stays in production.

My wife and I went long distance touring (7000km) seven years ago, plus we have been commuting since 2006, and we have never had any problems with this model, which came with a bike we bought for the trip and we have been using ever since.

It is easy to get up to (at least) 95 psi with the floor foot operation (versus on smaller models holding it in your hand or against the air valve), the handle is comfortable, the gauge works, and the hoses and parts have been completely reliable.

Pump well worth the money...

by
Since i bought a new road bike, i wanted to get a decent pump that could pump a fair amount of pressure without spending money on C02 kits.

I have not used the pump in a road bike flat situation but from pumping the bmx flat from 0-60psiwas done between 1-2mins.

Like a mini floor mount pump

Allows a quicker and easier pump to desired pressure. The extension tube protects the valve from unintentional damage.

Good pump - bad mount

Good quality pump but mounting bracket doesn't allow for mounting alongside bottle cage

Great Pump to get you out of a jam

by
Received this pump in two business days. A good roadside pump in emergencies. With the extended hose it saves the stress on your valves and stops it from getting bent and worst of all damaged as a result.

The inline gauge is a tad small to read and the foot pedal is ok to get some stability. Managed to get the tyre just under 100 psi which is more than enough to get you back on the road. Good luck in getting it to 160 psi unless your King Kong!

Overall a good pump to get you out of a jam.

Great Pump

Most people in our group now has one of these pumps. We have found them by far the best to quickly get 100psi back into your road tyre.

The only things we don't like is the cable tie mounting system. This has been over come by making our own adaptor that attaches to your bottle cage

Effective and portable

by - verified purchaser
Great pump for the price and size.

It stows easily and securely in the supplied bracket, it weighs nothing, but can give you a surprising amount of pressure with not too much sweat.

My only complaint is that it takes up a whole tube, leaving no room for a bottle cage.

My Third Road Morph Pump

by - verified purchaser
I've been carrying and using Road Morphs for about ten years. The first one was stolen with my bike in Vancouver, Ca. I bought the second in the USA in 2004, a clip-on model and used it until recently when it apparently fell off my bike unnoticed. So this is my third one, a model that I find marginally smaller than the earlier ones, particularly the gauge that I, at 76, find difficult to read. I believe the strap-on version is more secure than the clip-on.

Love this pump!

by - verified purchaser
I bought this pump on the recommendation of a friend, and couldn't be happier with it. This pump will put just as much air into a tyre as a floor pump. I can get to 120 psi on the side of the road within a couple minutes. Don't settle for a pump that will only reach 80 psi - get this one instead!
