"I started with some Teflon lube years ago, moved to Boeshield, then Pro Gold, which I've used for about 2 years.
A
couple of months ago, a guy in a bike shop raved about Rock 'n Roll
lube. "Okay", I said, and bought a bottle. I took it home a looked at
the bottle. "Rock 'n Roll Lube?", I thought to myself, "sound a little
cheezy".
Thinking I had just bought the flavor of the month, I threw it
in my 'bike junk' box and forgot about it.
Two weeks ago I visited a
shop where I know and trust the mechanic. I asked him about lubes and he
started raving about Rock 'n Roll. I decided to try it.
Clean the
chain and cassette well, and apply the lube liberally. Spin in around to
work it in and completely dry the chain.
The stuff seems to last longer
without collecting as much dirt as Pro Gold. I'm only a couple of
hundred miles into it, but so far it looks very good.
I'm using 'Absolute Dry', which is dry conditions formula. For wet conditions there is something called 'Extreme'."
