Placed my order for one of the new yellow long sleeve jerseys, to get me through early morning winter rides and commutes in Brisbane - It arrived 3 business days after ordering (as slick as always Cell! Thanks!), and although it was a heavier material than I was expecting it does have some breathability so I don't cook when the Queensland sun comes out.
I'm going to give it a go as an over-shirt over a short-sleeve jersey on the coldest of mornings, and on longer rides it could be taken off and stuffed in the back pocket of the short-sleeve jersey as it warms up.

Not to sound stupid or anything, but are the measurements you provide for the 2009 Cing1e bike for the vertical seat tube on the main frame (i.e. the measurement from the bottom bracket - the cylindrical part of the lower frame in which the pedal cranks are affixed - up to the top of the seat tube, the point at which the seat post enters the main frame? I ordered a Blade bike from you on a Sunday afternoon to be shipped to the NW of WA but I had my doubts that you could meet the delivery time that you stated on the website (freight is often slow getting up here.) The next day I received notification that it had been despatched and it arrived here right on time.
Once unpacked I found that I was missing a bolt (fell out in transit) and when I couldn't source a replacement locally I put in a service request and quick as a flash here it is.

Just got these today, right on time.
Thank you for such excellent fast service, and of course, great products and prices.
I have installed the 420's now, and Ill go for the maiden voyage on them as soon as I get the cassette changed over (and clean my hands).
For any other customers looking at the American Classic wheels, these are my first set, and here are my initial impressions :
- They arrived from Cell bikes perfectly true.
- The are super light, should make a decent climbing wheel.
- They look far better in real life than you could imagine. Very classy. Very happy with the bling factor.
- The 34mm rims look very WIDE in real life - should be good aero cruising wheels too.
- They feel stiff enough, I will test them soon on our local Col du Crafers hell climb.
- Freehub engagement is hard and predictable, and makes a very loud Euro-sounding Tick-Tick-Tick when coasting. Pure class !
- I spun up the wheel with the bike on the workstand ... and I kid you not, 10 minutes later, the damn thing is still spinning fast. The stainless steel bearings must be excellent.
The hubs and bearings issues you may read about on the web were all resolved in the last few years, according to a Cat-1 racer friend of mine who uses AC exclusively for all his races and training. I trust his opinion. He also commented that the stainless bearings are so good in the AC's that you do not need the ceramic upgrade. It wont hurt of course, but the standard is way good enough.
Also, old versions of this wheelset had a problem where the shimano cassette would slowly grind away at the softer alloy of the hub body, eating it up over time. This more recent set INCLUDES A HARDENED STEEL WASHER that sits between the hub body and the cassette, eliminating this problem.
The spokes are STANDARD non-proprietary items that can be sourced cheaply at any decent LBS.
Finally, the freehub can be easily removed in minutes, and all of the internals are trivially simple to access and service. Many other brands are either very difficult to service yourself, or require that you throw the thing away and replace it when it all it needs is a good clean out and a new layer of grease.
All up, I would highly recommend these wheels to anyone, and Cell bikes for their excellent fast service. I would rate these wheels right up there with the more expensive Mavic/Campy/Fulcrum alum clinchers. Bargain buying, order them with confidence !

Once again I am amazed at the speed of delivery. I placed my order on Wednesday and had my new knicks and jersey on Friday morning in Perth. I couldn't have got the same quality items any cheaper anywhere here, in fact the cheapest similar item would have been three times the price (if you can find a XXL jersey, they seem to be as rare as hens teeth). Don't see the point in trying to buy bike gear on those online auctions when you get better value at Cell Bikes and you don't have to wait for 9 days to see if you have won the item.
Got my gear at about half the price and delivered within 2 days to Perth without the over the top delivery charges some sellers ask for. Add it all up and you wont get better value IMO.

I thought I would buy online overseas to save some $$. WRONG. It took me over 6 weeks to get most of what I ordered and one item was 'cancelled' without notification. I am still seeking a refund. My bank charged $30 for the purchase and the Shops bank also charged me which left my order unfilled as the funds were 'insufficient'. Bl***y disaster which ended up costing me time and money.
I did some more research and decided to go with Cell to get a pair of MB Boots after looking at ALOT of on-line stores in Oz. Ordered, paid for and delivered in 3 days and for a great price.

Since getting back into cycling for health and the big smile it puts on my face about 9 years ago I have been riding mostly mountain bike. Just lately, circumstances have seen me ride more asphalt and bike track than dirt track so I started looking at road bike options.
About then I stumbled across Cell Bikes online. You looked almost too good to be true so I stalked you a bit - comparing prices and checking your rep with the online community. You checked out fine !
I always work on an extremely tight budget for my toys so it was always going to be the Cell S2200. When the already basement price dipped a bit more after Christmas I ummed, aahed, then pushed the button.
As soon as I had it out of the box, set up, and double checked I set out on a short test ride which turned into a long and grin-inducing ride on the big front ring. She certainly goes ! I have ridden it enough now to know that it's going to be a long-term relationship with the S2200 and Cell Bikes.
It's exactly as good as I expected it to be from the research I had done. People give you a bit of stick for the retro downtube shifters but it keeps the rig at a magic price point for entry into road cycling and the last road bike I had was a Repco Traveller so I've never used those new-fangled 'brifter' things anyway.
Who knows - I may even start wearing lycra and shaving my legs !!

A true indication of whether a shop is worth dealing with is in the way they handle problems. I ordered pedals that subsequently were not going to be available as they were on back order. With very little fuss Cell refunded my money instead of holding me to a product that may take ages to get to me. The standard tyres on my Avanti Blade 4 (Kenda KWest) wore out very quickly and I needed some replacments.
Decided on Conti GatorSkins, but struggled to find any stock in Sydney (700*28), every shop was prepared to order in for me, but equally I could have also bought on-line from o/s at a lower price.

Purchased the Shogun Kaze - couldn't go past it for bang for buck!! A sub 8kg bike with Dura-Ace - bargain!! Ordered 3 days befor Xmas - received it 3 days after Xmas - prompt delivery (all the way to Nth Qld too). The bike? What can I say - after setting it up and a few seat/post/stem adjustments it was time for a test run - a gentle 20k ride just to get used to it. From the very start, this is a bike that wants to go!! Going from a 10kg aluminium frame with average wheels to this bike makes you appreciate the money spent on a top line bike. Bought myself an S2200. Was really quite concerned about what i would get for the price, but i can say that i am absolutely amazed at the quality of the bike. It looks and feels like a bike selling for more than twice as much.
The most amazing thing was the postage though. I received the bike within 3 working days. Which may not seem impressive until you realise the bike made its way all the way to North Queensland.

I bought a Cell S-2200 road bike a while ago. Although I have a rather expensive mountain bike, I was imediately impressed with the quality of the fittings on the S-2200. It's SUPPOSED to be a basic model, but it feels fantastic. At the price I expected a heavier bike with an ordinary drive train, but this bike is light and strong and powers along.
Although a few things are a basic (gear shift type and tyres), the Shimano gears feel great, the steering is very positive. The saddle is firm but high quality (Selle San Marco). I replaced the saddle with a cushy gel type. I also use MTB shoes with Shimano 520 pedals from Cell. These are a really good investment for a beginner to intermediate level rider like myself.
Overall it is light, strong, quick and I was surprised that I didn't have to pay $800 or $1000 for a bike this good. I'm very, very happy with the S-2200. Thanks Cell for a solid bike at an outstanding price.

I was a bit doubtful about buying an unknown brand from a Sydney dealer and taking it back to the bush. Have had my Cell MTX-R for 18 months now, it is an awsome bike for the money concious mountain rider. This bike has taken all that I have thrown at it and I love getting AIR even tackled all the jumps the locals set up in Swansea quarry all except the 6m vertical off the top of the quarry face well at 52yrs you have to get a bit smart and realize your limitations some time.

Hi. I only got into road cycling because of Cell Cycles. I used to wander into bike shops curious but found the prices somewhat prohibitive for something I just wanted to 'try out' so to speak.
Then I found the Cell website and ordered my 'entry level' S2200. Ordered on a Monday and arrived on Wednesday on the Sunshine Coast! Now I love riding! Have just purchased a shoe/pedal combo and will have my first ride using them later today. I buy all my gear (clothing, track pump etc etc) on line from Cell and couldn't be happier with the Quality, price and delivery time on all items.
So thank you for allowing me into this sport and I will continue to support your business with purchases and by word of mouth.

Bought an MTX 2 mountain bike 3 weeks ago. Ordered online at 2pm and arrived next business day @ 8:30am. Had a chain break on the 2nd ride, took it to the store and was replaced quickly without hassle even though i forgot to take my receipt. The bike is worth a lot more than what I paid for it. Have wanted to own a good quality road bike for years but could not justify the 2 to 3000 dollars that 105-ultegra equipped bikes retail for in the local bike shops. I decided to invest in a Cell Team after doing a huge amount of price checking and comparing of specs.
What an excellent bike for an unbelievable price. compared to the 1992 Apollo Concord that it has replaced, the bike is fantastic. Will spread the word down here in the southern state.

Have cycled over 3,500km from Carnarvon WA to Katherine NT on a circuit of Australia on a new S2200 which is performing without any adjustments needed. I have not yet had to put any more air into either tyre, Amazing! Cycling on this racing frame with a trailer attached is proving to be a very good unit. After competing in the ALICE MASTERS GAMES in October will be cycling on up to Normanton over to Cairns & down to Sydney by end of December at the Senior age of 72 years.

I work as an Account Manager to various retail outlets, and like to think that I know something about good retailers. My experience with Cell Bikes has been exceptionally good.
It was easy to find what I wanted on the site, easy to place the order, and I was able to keep an eye on everything through email and the Cellbikes site.
My email query regarding the bike size was responded too promptly, and actioned without hiccup. I received everything in beautiful condition, and very rapidly which was brilliant.
Frankly, the whole experience has been better than most places I have dealt with when it comes to online ordering. Your attention to detail is commendable.
The protective wrapping on the bike was superb, and the set up was brilliant. Easy for me to assemble, and everything worked beautifully out of the box.
